Collected from the very surface of the salt pans in Figueira da Foz, Flor de Sal forms only in rare and perfect conditions — still winds, bright sun, and calm water. Its delicate crystals are hand-skimmed each morning using traditional wooden tools, in a process that values patience and precision.

With a naturally high moisture content and subtle crunch, Flor de Sal is prized for its purity and complex mineral profile. Often called “white gold,” it is best used as a finishing touch — just a pinch elevates everything from grilled fish to fresh tomatoes, dark chocolate, or ripe fruit.
