What we collect

• Order details — name, delivery and billing address, email, phone (if given).
• Payment — handled by our payment provider; we receive confirmation, not your full card details.
• Account and marketing — email address if you sign up to our list.
• Usage data — how you use the site, via cookies (see our Cookie Policy).

How and why we use it

• To take and fulfil your order and provide support (to perform our contract with you).
• To send marketing emails only where you've asked us to (consent); you can unsubscribe any time.
• To run, secure and improve the site, and meet legal obligations such as tax record-keeping.

Who we share it with

Trusted providers who help us operate: our ecommerce platform Shopify, our payment provider, our delivery carrier (Royal Mail), our email provider Klaviyo, and our advertising partners Meta and Google. They act on our instructions. We never sell your data.

How long we keep it

We keep order records as long as needed for the order and legal/tax requirements, then delete or anonymise them. Marketing data is kept until you unsubscribe.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask to access, correct, delete or port your data, or object to or restrict how we use it. Email info@silvasalt.com and we'll respond within one month. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
