It preserves in its crystals most of the minerals and micronutrients present in sea water in its natural ratio and necessary to our wellbeing.
It is naturally rich in magnesium, which aids the proper functioning of the body, and contains traces of calcium, iron and potassium. Due to its mineral ratio it is also a much more forgiving salt, without the harshness typically experienced with other salts.
We produce two types of salt: artisanal sea salt and flor de sal.
Artisanal sea salt
Your ingredients’ best friend. It crystalises slowly over the week, carefully managed from sunrise to sunset. Thanks to this slow process, its rich mineral content heightens your ingredients’ flavours in the purest of ways.
Flor de sal
Flor de sal consists of very fine, delicate crystals with a higher moisture content than other salts. It is patiently collected daily by the salt farmer from the water’s surface, where it forms only in special conditions of sun and wind. Often called white gold, it is a finishing salt that accentuates the flavour of anything it touches.
