Our Method
Our sea salt is produced by traditional methods from salt pans dating back at least to the 11th century.

We rely on nothing but what mother nature provides: sea and sun.
Our water comes from the Atlantic Ocean and is filtered through beds of sea algae before initiating its evaporation process in salt pans. Once the brine concentration is high enough, mineral-rich salt crystals begin to form.

Hand-harvested, with no artificial heating or processing.
Through the course of a week, we rake the waters to ensure even crystallisation across the pan. Once enough salt accumulates, we collect it into pyramids to dry, at the edge of the pans. The next day, when the salt has dried, we carry it into the warehouse, where we shelter it from the elements.
